As a follow up to the 1988 20th Anniversary Awards, the Players decided to once again to hold "People's Choice" Awards, named "The Dame Awards". Nominees were supplied on a ballot and voted on by those who elected to mail in their ballots...it made for a fun evening. The Awards went this way: (in reverse order)
